IAF Agniveer Vayu Jobs 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- Science Subjects: 12th Pass with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
- Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) with 50% marks in aggregate And 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course). OR
- Passed Two years Vocational course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in vocational course).
- Other than Science Subjects: 12th Pass in any subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
- Passed two years’ vocational course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
Selection Procedure – IAF Agniveer Vayu Notification 2023
- Selection will be based on Written Test / PST / PET.
- Training Duration: 6 Months
- Job Duration: 4 Years
- Only Upto 25% candidates will be selected permanently to work further, 75% Candidates will retire after 4 Years.
Benefits After Retirement , i.e., After 4 Years : - Rs 11.71 Lakh as Seva Nidhi Package + Skill Gained Certificate.
- Rs. 48 Lakh Life Insurance Cover.
- Up to 25% will be enrolled in the regular cadre of the Armed Forces
Mandatory Medical Standards
General Medical Standards for AGNIVEERVAYU are as follows:-(a)
- Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms (For Male candidates) and 152 cms (For Female candidates).
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Chest: For male candidate’s minimum chest circumference will be 77 cms and the chest expansion should be at least 5 cms. For female candidates the chest wall should be well proportioned with minimum range of expansion of 5 cms. (d)
- Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable. (e)(f)(g)
- Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately. Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
- Dental: Visual standards: Visual Acuity: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye
- Maximum limits of Refractive error: Hypermetropia: +2.0D Myopia: 1D Including ± 0.50 D Astigmatism
- Colour Vision: CP-II
