Name of the Post:
1) Personal Assistant to the Hon’ble Judges – 71 posts.
2) Personal Assistant (to the Registrars) – 10 posts.
3) Personal Clerk (to the Deputy Registrars) – 01 post.
Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, or any other discipline and passed the Government Technical Examination in Shorthand and Typewriting in English/Tamil in Higher/Senior Grade.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age : 18 Years
- Maximum Age : 30 Years
Pay Scale:
- Rs.56100 – 177500 (post 01),
- Rs.36400 – 115700 (post 02) and
- Rs.20600 – 65500 (post 03) per month.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on
- Skill Test (Short-hand dictation) and
- Interview.

- The fee Rs.500 for Others / UR / BC / BCM / MBC & DC through Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Madras, payable at Chennai and No fee for SC (A) / SC and ST.
