1. Preliminary Examination (Screening Test):
- Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)

- Paper I (General Studies): 200 marks
- Paper II (CSAT): 200 marks (Qualifying – 33% minimum required)
- Duration: 2 hours per paper
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each wrong answer.
Purpose: To screen candidates for the Main Examination. Marks not counted for final merit.
