- Engineer Mate: Applicants who have completed 10th Class and also Five Years sea experience and Holder of Engine driver of Fishing Vessel Certificate issued by MMD or equivalent from a recognized Institute for Customs Recruitment 2018.
- Greaser: Applicants who have completed 10th Class pass and also Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary maintenance or equivalent from a recognized Institute for Customs Recruitment 2018.
- Seaman: Applicants who have completed 10th Class pass or equivalent and also Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work or equivalent from a recognized Institute for Customs Recruitment 2018.
