Qualification: Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Recruitment 2024
- 12th Pass with Mathematics & Physics OR
- Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) OR
- Passed Two years Vocational Course with Non-vocational subject viz, Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with 50% marks in aggregate.
- Note: Candidates who have appeared in the class 12th Board Exam and are awaiting the declaration of results can still apply for a certain position, provided they meet all other eligibility criteria. However, their selection will be contingent upon producing the original mark sheet during the Stage II of the recruitment process. Internet copies of mark sheets will not be accepted. Additionally, these candidates must secure the minimum required marks in aggregate as well as in individual subjects for their respective category to be eligible to participate in Stage II.

- Shortlisting (Indian Navy Entrance Test – INET)
- PFT & Medical Examination
Agniveer Scheme Details:
- No entitlement to gratuity and pensionary benefits.
- Life Insurance Cover: Agniveers will get Rs. 48 lakh non-contributory Life Insurance Cover during their engagement.
- Death Compensation: In case of service-related death, Next of Kin will receive Rs. 44 lakh along with the insurance cover.
- Disability Compensation: Agniveers will receive one-time ex-gratia ranging from Rs. 15 to 44 lakh based on the percentage of disability.
- Enrolment as Sailors: After four years of service, some Agniveers may apply for permanent enrolment in the Indian Navy based on performance. Up to 25% of each batch may be enrolled.
- Naval Pension Regulations/Gratuity: Agniveers won’t be governed by Naval Pension Regulations and won’t receive gratuity.
- Release at Own Request: Agniveers can’t leave before completing the engagement period, except in exceptional cases approved by authority.”
