Qualification: NCERT Recruitment 2024

Professor Eligibility (A or B):

A.

1. An eminent scholar with a Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals with a total research score of 120 as per UGC regulations.
2. At least ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at an equivalent level with evidence of successfully guided doctoral candidates.

OR

B. An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines from academic institutions/industry, having made significant contributions to the knowledge in the field, supported by documentary evidence, and with ten years of experience.

Associate Professor Eligibility:

1. A Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
2. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
3. A minimum of eight years of teaching/research experience at an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor, with a minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 75 as per UGC regulations.

Assistant Professor Eligibility (A or B):

A.

1. A Master’s degree with 55% marks in a concerned/relevant/allied subject.
2. Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET, or have a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations, exempting them from NET/SLET/SET.

OR

B. Ph.D. from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in World University Ranking by QS, THE, or ARWU.

Assistant Librarian

1. A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
2. Good academic record and knowledge of computerization of a library.
3. Must have cleared the NET conducted by UGC, CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC, or have a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations, exempting them from NET/SLET/SET.
