- Additional allowance of Rs. 15,000/- per month during the entire duration of the course (18 months).
- Regular salary will be borne by the parent department (DHS/DRME/NHM Punjab).
Age Limit : (As on 01 September 2024)
- Maximum 45 years at the time of submission of application.
Qualification: NHM Punjab Recruitment 2024
- For M.Sc. Nursing (Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, or Community Health): Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in maternal care.
- For B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing (other specialities): Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in maternal care.
Selection Procedure :
Candidates will be selected as per the criteria laid down by the Government of India. The selection includes:
- Submission of online application
- Verification of essential/original documents during counseling
- Written test (date, time, and venue to be communicated through the NHM website)

Who can apply for the NPME course?
Only in-service candidates (regular Staff Nurses and CHOs) under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Punjab, and the State Health Society, NHM Punjab, and regular Staff Nurses under Directorate of Research and Medical Education, Punjab.
What is the duration of the NPME course?
The course duration is 18 months, including six months of intensive residential training and 12 months of clinical training and onsite mentorship.
What is the monthly remuneration for selected candidates?
An additional allowance of Rs. 15,000/- per month will be given during the entire duration of the course (18 months). Regular salary will be borne by the parent department.
Are there any additional requirements for the candidates?
Yes, candidates must be female, registered R.N.R.M. with Punjab Nurses Registration Council, have clinical/hands-on experience in conducting deliveries, and proficiency in basic computer usage. They must also be willing to serve the Government of Punjab for five years after training.
