IISER Jobs 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Name of the PostEducational Qualification & Experience
Physical Education Instructor
  • Master Degree in Physical Education and Sports or Sports Science and Diploma in coaching or equivalent
  • Diploma in coaching from NIS from any equivalent Institute
  • Should qualify in the physical fitness test in accordance with the relevant Regulations of UGC as part of the selection process
Superintendent (Accounts)
  • Master’s Degree 50% in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute with an excellent academic record. Or
  • First-class bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university or Institute in any discipline
Junior Engineer (Civil)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with first class from a  recognized  University/ Institute. With at least 5 years of field experience in civil works of construction/ maintenance of building projects preferably in organizations/ firms dealing with works as per CPWD/ PWD/ Govt. norms, OR 
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering first class from a recognized University/ Institute, At least 8 years of field experience in civil works of construction/ maintenance of building projects preferably in organizations/ firms dealing with works as per CPWD/ PWD/ Govt. norms.
Junior Engineer (Electrical)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in  Electrical/ HVAC Engineering with first class from a recognized University/ Institute. With at least 5 years of field experience in electrical/ HVAC works of construction/ maintenance of building projects preferably in organizations/ firms dealing with works as per CPWD/ PWD/ Govt. norms. OR
  • Diploma in Electrical/ HVAC Engineering first class from a recognized University/ Institute. At least 8 years of field experience in electrical/ HVAC works of construction/ maintenance of building projects preferably in organizations/ firms dealing with works as per CPWD/ PWD/ Govt. norms.
Junior Lab Assistant
  • B.Sc. (Physics/ Chemistry/ Earth & Environmental Sciences/ Biological Sciences) with 50% of marks from a recognised University/ Institute.
  • Experience – 3-year relevant experience in handling Laboratory equipment and experiments.
Junior Assistant
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 50% of marks in any discipline with excellent computer proficiency in Office applications like Word,  Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience – 3-years of relevant experience in office practices/ hospitality and catering services.
Cook
  • Class 10th with Diploma in Hotel Management/ Catering/        Cooking/ Food Production from any Food Craft Institute/ Hotel Management Catering Institute recognized by the National Council of Hotel Management
  • At least 5 years experience in the kitchen of Hostel/ Guest  House of Central/ State organization/ University institute funded by the Govt. /PSU/ Educational Organization recognized by the State/ Central Govt
  • Proficiency in local language (ability to communicate)

  • Selection will be based on Written Test / Interview.
